Mental Health Screener March 10th

We love having our students here at The Advanced Learning Center every day! It's a joy to see their smiling faces and watch them grow and learn in our community.
To show some extra love, our administration team made Valentine's Day special by handing out treats to all the students. These delightful surprises were a small gesture to brighten their days and let them know how much they are appreciated. We hope your children enjoyed this small token of appreciation as much as we enjoyed preparing it for them.

Future Focus Friday: Stand Out in Today's Job Market -
Want to be a top pick for jobs? Focus on your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs). These include good communication, getting along with others, and staying positive. Employers love these traits!
A study by Deloitte shows more companies prefer hiring based on skills, not just job titles. In fact, 90% of bosses and 66% of workers like this idea. Companies using this approach often see better results.
By building a strong knowledge base, gaining various skills, and having the right attitude, you can succeed in your career. Improve your KSAs to stand out and find better job opportunities.

Imagine stepping into the role of a real forensic scientist, analyzing mysterious substances to uncover the truth!
In this hands-on lab in Medical Forensics, students conduct a color test to determine which unknown powder contains a drug. Using positive and negative controls—just like professionals do in crime labs—students compare chemical reactions to identify the presence of a substance. With four different powders to test, keen observation skills and scientific reasoning will be the key to cracking the case.
Will students discover an illegal drug, or will the substances be harmless?

Future Focus Friday is Here! Watch for an informative post each Friday from the Nebo College and Career Center. Insightful tips to help you as a student, prepare for your future.
