Baseball Coach Jason Crawford dressed in Blue SL baseball uniform

Salem Hills is proud to announce that our new head Baseball Coach is Jason Crawford!

Coach Crawford was an assistant coach for the nationally regarded Salt Lake Community College Baseball program. SLCC also just won the JUCO World Series Championship! A Utah native, Crawford has been a long-time fixture in the Utah baseball scene as both a player and coach.

Prior to joining SLCC’s staff, Coach Crawford was the head coach at Cottonwood High School in Salt Lake City. He led the Colts to a record of 189-62 in his time, winning two UHSAA State Championships and eight Region Championships.

Coach Crawford grew up on the Wasatch Front, playing baseball at Cyprus High School, where he was a three-time All-State selection. He is a SLCC alum, earning Region 18 ‘Player-of the-Year’ honors. He graduated from Colorado Mesa University as a two-time All-America player, earning an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Sports and Fitness Management. He also holds a graduate degree in Special Education.

We are so excited for everyone to meet Coach Crawford. We will host our first meet-and-greet on Tuesday, August 26th at 6 PM in the Cafeteria at Salem Hills. All potential players and parents are welcome. Hope to see you all there!
