My name is Nate Matis. I am new athletic trainer at SHHS. Before coming to Salem Hills, I was the athletic trainer at Wasatch High School! My favorite food is steak. My favorite color is red. My favorite hobby is hanging out with my wife. My favorite sports are football and rugby. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July. My favorite song is Highwayman by Johnny Cash. I was born and raised in Spanish Fork. I played football and rugby at SVU where I met my wife who played softball @ SVU and we have been married for almost 5 years. I also played Rugby at BYU. I graduated with my master's from BYU in April of 2025
