A big crowd gathered at the Salem Hills football game on Thursday, September 3, 2026, for the 13th annual Veterans Appreciation Night. Special guests Senator John Curtis, Salem Mayor Cristie Simons, and Provo Mayor Marsha Judkins were on hand to welcome local veterans and express appreciation for their decades of service. Football players from both Salem Hills and Provo escorted the veterans onto the football field to the applause of the crowd.
