Congratulations to our Students of the Week! Tyler Carlos- Wrestling: Tyler moved up to 120 pounds this year. Tyler picked up a few take downs before he got an early pin in the duel to get the team rolling for the rest of the night! Chenielle Nye- Basketball: Chenielle has led us in scoring this year with 19 points per game. She more importantly has been a great leader and works hard each day in practice while also looking out for her teammates. Mary Linford-Dance: For my performer I selected Mary, for being so dependable and a hard worker. Even though this is Mary’s first year on Dance Company she has been a great asset to our team. Not only does she put in the time, but she does it with a smile and positive attitude. Her willingness to apply feedback and her quickness to help others truly makes a difference in our team. I appreciate everything she does! Carter Johnson-Fan: Tyler is the president of our Sox Club. We appreciate Tyler's leadership when it comes to encouraging appropriate sportsmanlike behavior in himself and his fellow students! Thank you for helping Salem Hills "Do Rowdy Right"!

We had a fun night watching our Manhawk contestants work to raise money for our "Make a Wish" child, Logan!

We are so excited to have Aubrey Frandsen on our faculty at SHHS!

Sophia Allen is humble in her demeanor, but fierce in her performing ability! She is unassuming in her class work and preparation for presentations and performances, but when she steps in front of the camera, she calls all attention to her. She is not afraid to admit when her performance falls flat and will tenaciously work to get it to where it needs to be. Skyhawk Theater is very lucky to have her!

Deegan Molyeaux is a great student to have in class. He is kind and respectful to everyone. He is always willing to try every problem in the tasks and looks for ways to challenge himself further. Deegan is willing to share his ideas with others in small groups and will take the time to help other students understand the problems to help them learn. He is a great addition to the math classroom!

Jeremy Ashton works hard and it's paying off. He's a combined 5-1 in Lincoln-Douglas debate this year. He represents Salem Hills High School with class and skill. Congratulations on being the Debater of the Week!

Hiatt Carroll has been working hard each practice to improve upon his strokes. This past Saturday he showed that improvement in his races at the Nebo Invitational.
