Peyton had two touchdowns in the playoff game against Mt. View. He had 8 tackles with two passes defended on defense. Peyton is a team captain and loves his team. He is excited to see what we can do this week!
Kaycee Van Horn: Volleyball
Kaycee has been awesome this year. She has worked so hard for her team and is great at firing everyone up. She is a great leader. We are so proud of her and will miss her next year!
Heidi Brimley: Marching Band
Heidi exemplifies what it means to practice with the intent to perform--her focus, consistency, and drive in rehearsal translate directly to her excellence on the field. Beyond her remarkable work ethic, Heidi is known for her kindness and unwavering support of her band and color guard teammates, uplifting everyone around her with her positive attitude and genuine care.

Ian Chamberlain has been an outstanding member of the Salem Hills Band program, demonstrating perseverance, dedication, and a genuine passion for music. Ian has continually sought growth as both a musician and a leader, taking initiative to seek private instruction and refine his skills. His determination, positive attitude, and commitment to improvement have made a meaningful impact on the band’s culture and have inspired those around him to strive for excellence. The Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association recognizes the Athletic Department of Salem Hills High School, student-athletes and coaches, for earning the 2024-2025 5A Director’s Cup.
Salem Hills was the top 5A school in the combined categories of Athletics, Academics, Sportsmanship, and Student-Leadership.
Our over 900 student-athletes from 25 different programs earned 4 Varsity Team Academic State Champions and 15 other top 5 finishes. Those Varsity teams combined, earned an average cumulative GPA of 3.723.
Let us join together in congratulations for this Outstanding recognition earned by our Salem Hills student-athletes and their coaches. Go Skyhawks!

Jaimi Sparks: Drill Coach My name is Jaimi Sparks. I am the Head Coach of the drill team at SHHS! Before coming to Salem Hills I ran my own dance studio! My favorite food is tacos! My favorite color is pink! My favorite hobby is reading! My favorite sport is dancing! My favorite holiday is July 4th! My favorite song right now is Backwards by the Jonas Brothers! I have been married for 26 years and have 3 children age 24, 23, and 18!
Tempy Coffey: Math TeacherMy name is Tempy Coffey. I teach Math at SHHS. I started here at Salem Hills right after graduating college in 2011! While in college, I worked as a math tutor and at Jamba Juice. My favorite foods are Mexican food and ice cream! My favorite color is blue! I love walking, working out, camping, being with my family, and watching sports.! My favorite sport is basketball! My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas! I love The Beatles and my favorite song is Let It Be.! I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Brock for almost 16 years. We have an almost 8 year old daughter, Lennon and a 2 year old son, Barrett. We have a 5 year old golden retriever, Cal. We love being outside, swimming, camping, and making/eating good food together.!
