
Meet our fantastic ASL teacher, Paul Erwin!
My name is Paul Erwin. I am the ASL teacher at SHHS. Before coming to Salem Hills, I worked at Target! My favorite food is Chinese food from Panda Express ! My favorite color is orange. My favorite hobbies are sketching and board games. I enjoy walking trails or the occasional hike. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. My favorite kind of music is Soft Rock or Christian Rock (Ben Rector, Switchfoot, Relient K, etc.). My wife and I have been married for over 12 years now. We have four boys and baby girl. We have lived all over Utah Valley from Orem all the way down to Santaquin.

My name is Malka Moya. I am the school psychologist at SHHS. Before coming to Salem Hills, I worked at BYU and Walgreens in Lehi.
My favorite food is brisket! My favorite colors are navy and silver. My favorite hobbies are reading & hiking. My favorite holiday is Halloween. My favorite kind of music is Country. I am married to a navy veteran, Amulek, & we have a black lab mix named Delilah.

My name is Brad Holdaway. I am a Math teacher at SHHS. Before coming to Salem Hills, I taught at Diamond Fork Junior High for 3 years. My favorite food is pizza! My favorite color is blue. My favorite hobby is spending time with my family. We enjoy hiking and going on walks. My favorite sport to play is soccer. My favorite sport to watch is college basketball. My favorite holiday is Christmas. My favorite kind of music is Country. I grew up in Payson, but currently live in Provo. I went to Salem Hills High School, and I graduated from BYU with my Bachelors Degree in Math Education. My wife, Haley, and I have been married for just over 2 years. We have one daughter, Madi, who is 4 months old. I enjoy teaching and spending time with students..

2. No weapons of any kind — real or fake.
3. No masks (minimal face paint is fine as long as you can still be recognized).
4. Costumes must be culturally appropriate and respectful.

Peyton Higginson: Football
Peyton had two touchdowns in the playoff game against Mt. View. He had 8 tackles with two passes defended on defense. Peyton is a team captain and loves his team. He is excited to see what we can do this week!
Kaycee Van Horn: Volleyball
Kaycee has been awesome this year. She has worked so hard for her team and is great at firing everyone up. She is a great leader. We are so proud of her and will miss her next year!
Heidi Brimley: Marching Band
Heidi exemplifies what it means to practice with the intent to perform--her focus, consistency, and drive in rehearsal translate directly to her excellence on the field. Beyond her remarkable work ethic, Heidi is known for her kindness and unwavering support of her band and color guard teammates, uplifting everyone around her with her positive attitude and genuine care.

Ian Chamberlain has been an outstanding member of the Salem Hills Band program, demonstrating perseverance, dedication, and a genuine passion for music. Ian has continually sought growth as both a musician and a leader, taking initiative to seek private instruction and refine his skills. His determination, positive attitude, and commitment to improvement have made a meaningful impact on the band’s culture and have inspired those around him to strive for excellence. Our over 900 student-athletes from 25 different programs earned 4 Varsity Team Academic State Champions and 15 other top 5 finishes. Those Varsity teams combined, earned an average cumulative GPA of 3.723.
